Procedure documentation Creating a Distribution Model  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

You have created a data object or the data object already exists, and it is activated.

Procedure

...

       1.      Log on to the NetWeaver AS and start transaction SDOE_WB.

The Data Orchestration Workbench screen appears.

       2.      Select the project in which you want to work.

Note

To display all projects, type * in the instance list field and press Enter.

       3.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Expand all Nodes.

       4.      Click the data object for which you want to create a distribution model with the secondary mouse button, then choose Create Distribution Model.

The Distribution Model screen appears.

       5.      In the Distribution Model Name field, type a name for the distribution model you want to create.

       6.      In the Distribution Model Description field, type the description of the distribution model, then choose Save.

The Create Object Directory Entry dialog box appears.

       7.      In the Package field, type or search for the package to which you want to assign the distribution model, then choose Save.

The Prompt for Local Workbench Request dialog box appears.

       8.      Choose Enter.

Note

If you want to use a different request, choose Own Requests, select the one you want to use, and then choose Enter.

Or

If you do not have a request, follow this procedure.

§         Choose Create.

The Create Request dialog box appears.

§         In the Short Description field, type information about the request type.

§         In the Project field, select the project for which the distribution model is to be created, then choose Save.

The Rules and Dependencies tab pages appear on the screen.

       9.      Choose Save.
