Modifying the Contents of a Message 

Use

If during the processing of a message, an error occurs and the message is not processed by the DOE, you can reprocess the same from the message store. In this case, before you reprocess the message, you have to modify the contents of the message based on the troubleshooting information associated with the message.

Prerequisites

You have searched for the required messages by using the simple or advanced search option.

Procedure

       1.      Select the required message and choose View Message.

The structure of the message appears in the form of a tree view.

       2.      Choose the required node from the message structure.

The contents of the message appear on the right along with the contents of the corresponding message in the CDS. In addition, if the message is modified by any of the services, then the modified message content is also displayed. As a result, you can compare the message in the message store with the corresponding message in the CDS and modify the message if required.

       3.      Choose Change.

       4.      Modify the message.

       5.      Choose Restart.
