A parameter can set and obtain values of the attributes of a client device.
8. Based on your requirements, specify values for the following fields as explained in the table below:
Field |
Description |
Process automatically |
By default, this option is selected. This ensures that when the parameter is transferred to the device as part of the agent configuration, it is automatically executed on the device. However, if you want to provide a timeline to the device user to execute the parameter, then you can select this option and enter a date in the Last Date for Process Automatically field. |
Last Date for Process Automatically |
Specify a date in this field only if you select the Process Automatically option. If the device user does not execute the parameter by the date you specify, then it is executed automatically on the device. |
Expiry date |
Use this option only if you do not want the parameter to be executed automatically. Therefore, specify an expiry date only if you do not select the Process Automatically option. If you specify an expiry date, the device user can choose to execute or discard the parameter. If the user does not execute the parameter by the date you specify in this field, it is discarded automatically. In this case, a notification is sent to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) through the FEEDBACK data object. |

Repeat steps 3 to 8 to add additional parameters.
