Adjusting Port Matches
You adjust port matches in the Visual Composer tool. When an adaptation in created in Visual Composer, the infoshape is assigned an artificial key within Visual Composer, e.g. Adapted_Root_GQ. It is unlikely that a recreation of the adaptation will result in an identical name. To obtain matching the Enterprise Services Repository names, the name of the port has to be adjusted to match the Enterprise Services Repository name in the Web Dynpro model.
1. Drill down into Adapted Service. On Outport, pick context menu Rename and make your entries.
2. Similarly, the field names may need to be aligned in rare cases.
The matching of the inport is tested during generation time:
