PIOS Configuration Agent (PIOSCONFIG) 

Use

You use the Peripheral Input/Output Services (PIOS) Configuration Agent to assign values to configuration parameters of PIOS device drivers in client devices.  During the synchronization, these parameters will be stored in relevant property files for each of the PIOS device drivers in client devices.

Prerequisites

●      You have deployed PIOS device drivers to be configured in the Data Orchestration Engine Administration (DOEA).

●      Driver deployer 1.3.1 is deployed.

●      The PIOS Configuration Agent is deployed.

You have the following options:

Parameters for PIOSCONFIG

Parameters	Description	Possible values
DriverName.FileExtension.ConfigurationName.Parameter	These parameters are driver dependent but all conform to the same format. They are defined in each driver’s MCD.xml.  For example, piprintpb20.barcfg.CODE39_DENSITY_HIGH._Type	The value is parameter dependent.  For example, Code39_Density for parameter CODE39_DENSITY_HIGH._Type

 

 

Activities

You define and assign the values for the parameters in the DOE by using the SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator. Use the PIOSCONFIG as the agent ID when you assign values to each parameter.
