Customizing a Receiver Meta Model 

Use

At present, you can create devices by using the Mobile RMM only. However, if you want to customize the RMM based on your requirements, you must create a customizing group. This is required because you cannot modify the RMM directly as it is part of the SAP Package. In addition, when you create a customizing group, you can transport the modifications independently without transporting the entire RMM.

Procedure

       1.      Log on to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) and start transaction SDOE_RMM01.

       2.      Under Receiver Meta Model, select the RMM you want to customize.

       3.      Choose Customize.

       4.      Choose  New.

       5.      Enter a name for the customizing group and choose Continue.

       6.      Under the Configuration and Administration tabs, enter the required attributes.

You cannot use the same attribute names as the standard attributes defined in the RMM.

       7.      Choose Save.

The system prompts you to regenerate the RMM. This ensures that the database tables required to store the newly added attributes and their values are generated.
