View the system status and navigate to configuration and monitoring pages from the SAP
Gateway for Microsoft administration home
page.
After deploying the GWM cloud service, you configure provider systems and role management for
user access in the GWM administration UI.
Tip To maintain access to the
Azure Administration Portal and GWM administration interface at the same time,
we recommend that you use two different browsers. This means that you do not
need to log off from one to access the other.
To access the GWM administration UI, use a user that is defined in the Azure AD connected to
GWM. This user must be assigned to the Azure AD role of Global
Admin or Service
Admin.
The GWM home page provides a summary of the system status, as follows:
- The number of provider systems currently defined
- The number of Azure Active Directory groups that are currently assigned to GWM cloud service
roles
- The number of errors that were detected in the last 24 hours
To access the GWM home page, use the cloud service URL that was defined in the deployment
process, for example, https://gwm.cloudapp.net/. The home page
opens after successful user authentication and verification of the database
connection string.
Tip To find the URL, go to the Cloud Services page in the
Azure Management Portal, select the GWM cloud service, click
Dashboard in the menu bar and select
Staging or Production, as
required. The service URL is displayed on the right side of the page.
From the home page, you can navigate to the configuration and monitoring pages from
the navigation bar at the top of the page or from the links in the content area.
