SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search uses the user management and authentication mechanisms provided with the SAP NetWeaver platform, in particular SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP. Therefore, the security recommendations for user management and authentication described in the SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP Security Guide also apply to SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search.
