The opportunity to create personalization objects provides a framework for application development with which user-dependent data can be easily saved for an application.

To use the framework, you must simply create a key, under which the user-dependent data is to be saved. The data can then be stored in the application simply by calling an interface direct to a generic data repository. You can specify if changing the data for this key should also be performed with the user administration. To do this, the application must provide a dialog window that can be called in the user maintenance for the personalization key.

In addition to using the generic storage of personalization data, it is possible to connect your own tables with user-dependent data to user administration using the framework. For more information, see Central Store for Personalization Data.
