You have imported a backup copy into your SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search system. After the restore process, the TREX instances are running but TREX is not ready for indexing and searches.

One possible cause is that the TREX restore lock was not removed correctly and therefore the TREX indexes are considered to be inconsistent.

Procedure

  1. To remove the TREX lock, run the following command on the master blade:

    appliancecontrol backup-unsuspend TRX02

  2. To make the TREX indexes ready for use, open the standalone TREX admin tool and do the following:

    1. Choose Index: Landscape and select all indexes with status red.

    2. Choose Check Consistency... from the context menu.

      The system tests the consistency of the indexes and performs any necessary repairs.

    3. If there are still indexes with status red after the repair, select these indexes and choose Reassign all Services from the context menu.
