To display the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search result list, you first need to assign the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise search system you have created to the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search iView. You have to configure this iView to enable the use of SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search User Interface (Search UI).

Procedure

Perform the following steps:

  1. In the portal, navigate to   Content Administration   Portal Content Management  .

  2. In the Portal Catalog, navigate to   Portal Content   Templates   iView Templates  

  3. Select SAP Web Dynpro for ABAP iView, and in the context menu choose Copy.

  4. Navigate to the folder where you want to create the iView.

    We recommend to create the iView in the following location:   Portal Content   Portal Users   Standard Portal Users   iViews   SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search iViews  ).

  5. In the context menu of the folder, choose Paste.

  6. In the Paste wizard, select the Create a copy radio button and complete the wizard.

  7. Open the iView that you created, and in the Properties editor, configure the following properties:

    Property Name

    Value

    Name

    Enterprise Search

    System

    NWES

    Namespace

    sap

    Application Name

    esh_search_results_ui

    Application Parameters

    *

    Parameters Forwarded to Web Dynpro

    *

  8. Save your changes.
