Configuring the Help Center
In this step, you configure your system so that users can display SAP documentation on the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search UIs and include their own documentation. If the help center is activated, users can launch it from the administration cockpit, the modeler, the test console, and the Search UI by choosing Help. The link to the respective SAP documentation for the UI in question appears in the help center at Worth Knowing.
You can connect the following types of SAP documentation:
A local SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search library that you have installed from the documentation DVD.
Recommendation
SAP recommends installing the SAP Library from the DVD because it contains the official product documentation for the respective software shipment.
The SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search online library on SAP Help Portal (help.sap.com).
You configure the help center in Customizing, which you can find in the implementation guide (IMG) in the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search ABAP system. For more information, see the system documentation about the customizing activities and the F1 help for the individual fields.
If you want to connect a local SAP Library, you must install the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search documentation DVD on an accessible host in your system landscape. For more information, see the installation guide on the DVD.
