Using Special Features

You can find the special features in the footer of the results list.

Procedure

You can use the special functions to perform the following actions.

Action	Explanation
Show Search Status	The traffic light next to Show Search Status displays the overall status of the search. Red means that the connection was not successful for all object types (from a technical perspective: Search Object Connectors). Show Search Status displays the status of the individual search object connectors in a dialog box. Here you can find out whether or not and how quickly the search object connectors contacted could be accessed. These technical details are relevant for your system administrator if he or she has to troubleshoot. Note You can change the default timeout of the search for the current user session. After the period of time set, the search is terminated and the results displayed, even if some search object connectors have not responded. To change the timeout setting, choose Personalize General Search Timeout (seconds) . End of the note.
Show Search Link (only in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search)	Show Search Link displays the exact URL for the current search in a dialog box. You can send the link as an e-mail or copy it to the clipboard for further use.
Subscribe (only in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search)	Subscribe creates a subscription to the current search request as an RSS feed. For more information, see the documentation for your RSS client.
