When creating a search object connector of the type SAP BO Search, the connection wizard returns the following error message:

Your current user doesn't have the authority to create the user!

SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search needs to create a special user for communicating with the back-end system, based on the back-end user you have specified for the connection. However, the back-end user that you have specified does not have the required authorizations.

In the case of an SAP R/3 back-end system, the user must have the following authorizations:

  • Profile S_BI-WX_RFC

  • Authorization to run transactions SU01 and PFCG

  • Authorization for the S_USER_GRP authorization object with:

    • Authorization field ACTVT * (all)

    • Authorization field CLASS * (all authorization groups)

  • Authorization for the S_USER_PRO authorization object with:

    • Authorization field ACTVT * (all)

    • Authorization field PROFILE with the value SI_BI-WX_RFC
