SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search provides authorization-checked search results, so users must log on to the Search UI. To bypass the logon process, you can activate the support for Single Sign-On (SSO).

Procedure

SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search relies on the security mechanisms of SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP. Therefore, you can configure any logon mechanism supported by the Application Server ABAP, such as logon using client certificates (“X.509”) or SAP Logon Tickets.
