After a crash, you trigger a restart of the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search system. During the restart, the application server instances are not started and you receive an error message referring to the shared memory.

One possible cause is that processes that were running at the time of the crash are blocking the shared memory.

Procedure

To remove these processes, log on to the blade on which the central application server instance DVEBMGS00 is located as the <sid>adm user and run the following command:

cleanipc 00 remove
