Procedure documentationAdministering PCD Content Using PCD Inspector Locate this document in the navigation structure

Using the PCD Inspector tool, you can analyze the objects stored in the PCD. For example, you can search for an object, or display the properties of an object. You can also use PCD Inspector to centrally modify PCD objects.

Caution Caution

Changes to the PCD cannot be undone. Thus, only persons with expert knowledge of the PCD should use PCD Inspector to modify PCD objects, to reduce the risk of causing irreversible damage to the portal by corrupting or losing data.

Note that instead of using PCD Inspector to make changes to the PCD, you can use the standard administration tools for content management and content maintenance. More information: Using the Portal Catalog and Using Object Editors
