Voice devices |
Voice devices allow end users to access a voice application. These devices can be mobile telephones or fixed telephones and connect to a third-party VoiceXML gateway over a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or through voice over Internet Protocol. |
Third-party VoiceXML gateway |
Calls from the voice devices are directed to a third-party VoiceXML gateway. The third-party VoiceXML gateway interacts with the runtime component of SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (NW CE) over an HTTP connection or an HTTPS connection. The VoiceXML gateway and NW CE use XML to communicate. More information: refer to third-party VoiceXML Gateway documentation. |

An SAP R/3 Enterprise system contains the company’s master data and transactional data. It is an optional system in an SAP NetWeaver Voice landscape. |

This is an optional system in the SAP NetWeaver Voice landscape and is used to generate BI-related reports. |
