You can specify references to other applications, libraries, services, or interfaces. In this way, an application can reuse the resources of existing components.

Procedure

Adding References

  1. In the context menu of the application-j2ee-engine.xml, choose Edit Runtime References...

  2. Choose the Add element button.

  3. If you want to specify a new reference, choose Create new.

    If you want to select libraries from a list, choose Select Application Libraries. When you have selected them, choose OK.

  4. In the entry fields that appear to the right in the pane, enter the required information. In the Reference target type you specify whether you want to create an application, library, service, or interface reference.

  5. Choose Apply and then OK.

Removing References

  1. Under the References node, select the reference.

  2. Choose the Remove element button.
