Error Messages 
The Kernel Messages user menu of the DBA Cockpit contains the kernel error log.
Procedure
Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and choose 
Diagnosis

Caution
For SAP NetWeaver 7.1, the kernel messages are displayed in the Errors display.
End of the caution.
Result
The error log, knldiag.err, is displayed. The error log records all of the database kernel’s error messages and warnings since the database system was installed. This file is written continuously.
You can use the navigation help (Start of File, End of File) for orientation within the message files. Choose Import Message File to update the output.
