Signing Documents

Guided Procedures enables the use of SAP interactive forms by Adobe that can be sent by e-mail or published to a URL.

To ensure security for the Adobe-based forms, we recommend that you use document signatures. For more information about signing documents, see the Adobe documentation.

Using ActiveX Control

To be able to design a template for a composite form online, GP allows you to open the Adobe LiveCycle Designer in your Web browser. To add templates with the Designer tool, you need to make sure the security level of the browser is set to Medium-Low. To do this, go to Tools Internet Options Security and select Default Level Medium-Low.

In case the default security settings of the Web browser have been modified, open the Custom Level tab page. Make sure the following security options for ActiveX control and scripting are enabled:

      Download signed ActiveX control

      Run ActiveX control and plug-ins

Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

      Binary and script behaviors

      Active scripting
