The Configure <Connector> task panel enables you to define attributes for a connector. A connector is a point in the data flow representing a connection that channels data from/to points outside the open component.

The following table describes the properties and attributes of this model element:

General

Name

The name of the connector, to be displayed on the Design board and used when creating references to the connector.

Client event

The namespace of the client event that you want to activate.

This property is available only for connectors of type Signal In and Signal Out.

Scope

Defines how the data share can be accessed, as follows:

  • Private: Enables you to transfer clustered data to and from view elements in your model

  • Public: Enables you to transfer data between your model and a Guided Procedures process

This property is available only for connectors of type Data Share.

Target Component

The properties in this group are available only for connectors of type Navigate.

The name of the nested component in the model.

Type

The type of the target component.

Location

The location in which the target component is stored.
