You can add multiple conditions to a rule and group the conditions using parenthesis and logical operators such as AND and OR.

Procedure

  1. Locate the ruleset (Where is my ruleset?) , expand the ruleset node, the Rules folder and double-click a rule node.

    or

    Locate the flow ruleset (Where is my flow ruleset?) , expand the flow ruleset node, the Rules folder and double-click a rule node.

    You can also expand the Rules folder in the Outline view and choose a rule node.

  2. In the rule editor that appears, under the If section, choose add a new Condition (add a new Condition) and add a condition. Repeat this step to add more conditions.

    The conditions appear within parentheses and are combined by the logical operator: and.

    Note Note

    • You can change the logical operator by clicking on it.

    • To group two or more conditions, select the conditions completely and in the context menu choose Group or press Tab.

    • To ungroup the conditions, select the conditions completely and in the context menu choose Group or press Shift + Tab

    • To move conditions, select the condition completely and in the context menu choose Move Up or Move down or press Alt + Up Arrow or Down Arrow

    • You cannot move conditions from one group to another.
