Checking Out a Web Dynpro DC from CVS Repository 

Use

To check out a Web Dynpro DC from the CVS Repository into an existing development configuration in the local workspace.

Prerequisites

You have configured a CVS repository. The Web Dynpro DC has been previously checked in or added to the CVS Repository. You have opened the CVS Repository Exploring perspective in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

Procedure

       1.      In the CVS repositories view, click the Web Dynpro DC that you want to check out and from the context menu choose Check Out.

       2.      To move the Web Dynpro DC into an existing development configuration, in the DC- like projects detected dialog box, choose Yes.

       3.      Select the target software component and choose Finish.

       4.      To switch to the Web Dynpro perspective, in the Confirm Perspective Switch dialog box, choose Yes.

Result

The Web Dynpro DC and its corresponding files are checked out from the CVS repository.
