Creating Custom PRT Layouts 
You can create a custom PRT page layout to display content in a way not possible with the standard layouts provided with the portal.
A layout is defined in a JSP page that is packaged as a portal component and deployed to the portal. Once deployed, an administrator can create a layout template based on the component, and then create pages based on the layout template.
