Excluding Software Components from Deployment 

Use

If you want to only use Java Support Package Manager (JSPM) to update software components (SCs) that are prerequisites for your development work, you can exclude these SCs from automatic deployment with SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI).

Prerequisites

●      You have configured software components in the track.

●      You use JSPM to update your runtime systems.

Procedure

To exclude software components from deployment, proceed as follows:

 

       1.      Navigate to CMS Web UI and open the Landscape Configurator.

       2.      Select the Track Data tab page.

       3.      In the software component tables, select the Exclude from Deployment column for the software components that you do not want to deploy.

       4.      Save your changes.

Result

The selected software components will not be deployed to the runtime systems.
