Applies to: consumers

Note Note

The functionality described in this topic is not available in an SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment system.

End of the note.

Procedure

After you have created a proxy-to-portlet iView, you manage the content as you would with other local iViews.

Some of the common administrative tasks performed with copied content include the following:

  • Assigning proxy-to-portlet iViews to local pages, worksets and role.

  • Editing proxy-to-portlet iViews.

    Note Note

Proxy-to-portlet iViews contain properties that are specific to iViews of this type. Some properties you can customize, while others are read-only. To access these properties, edit the iView and select the WSRP category in the Properties editor. Refer to the description of each property in the Properties editor to find out more.

    End of the note.
  • Preparing properties in proxy-to-portlet iViews for end-user personalization.

For information on how proxy-to-portlet iViews on the consumer relate to their source iViews or portlets on the producer, see 'WSRP Application Sharing' Mode.
