If you are using a network proxy server to control traffic leaving your company domain, you need to configure the portal proxy settings for your producers and consumers.

If you are using a reverse proxy, you need to configure it according to your federated portal network landscape. Prerequisites

You have access to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator tool.

Procedure

  1. In SAP NetWeaver Administrator, access the following portal application and service:

    • Portal application: com.sap.portal.ivs.httpservice

    • Service: proxy

  2. Configure the relevant properties in the proxy service.

    For information about the properties that are available in the proxy service, see Defining a Proxy Server for the Portal.

  3. Save your changes.
