When you configure tracks, you can use the Add SC... function to specify a package type for creating the software component version.

Caution Caution

When you select a package type, you define the conditions for shipping the software component version. Therefore, decide how you want to ship the software component version before you configure the track.

You can choose from the following package types:

  • Source and Archive

    Both the source code files from the consolidation workspace and the archives from the build are included in the delivery package.

  • Source

    Only the source code files are included in the package.

  • Archive

    Only the archives from the build are included in the package.
