Using the SLD Data Supplier service, the SLD provides a default HTTP(S) destination for applications deployed on a J2EE Engine which needs to communicate with the central SLD system. Data sent via this destination should be protected using HTTPS. Furthermore, in the configuration of the SLD Data Supplier service, you have to specify which applications are allowed to use this default destination.
