Procedure documentationSynchronizing a Model Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can synchronize a development component or model stored in the source control system. This makes a local copy of the last checked-in version of the model or development component. Synchronizing a model may be useful when you want to be sure that you are viewing the latest changes that may have been made to a model by another user. You may also want to synchronize before deploying a model, to make sure that the latest model versions are included in the build (deploy processes use the local copies of models and development components).

Note Note

When you open a component from the source control system, it is automatically synchronized before opening.

End of the note.

Prerequisites

The model that you want to sync is currently the active model in Storyboard.

Procedure

Choose   Source Control   Sync  . The last check-in version of the selected item is copied to the local cache.

Note Note

Although the item is copied to the local cache, it is not visible in the Visual Composer local repository.
