Trace and Log Files
  • SAP NetWeaver Application Server (NetWeaver AS) embeds SAP NetWeaver Voice. Thus you can make use of all logging mechanisms offered by NetWeaver AS.

    More information: Auditing and logging,

    Print and Output Management

  • Access to the back-end system also uses the available SAP logging mechanisms. SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP also offers auditing and logging capabilities.

More information: SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP Security Guide

    Note Note

When you use an RFC/IFC (Remote Function Call or Internet Communication Framework) communication user for access to an SAP back-end system, the user saved in the logging and tracing files is a communication user.

    More information: RFC/ICF Security Guide

In addition, for access to non-SAP business systems, you must enforce suitable logging and tracing mechanisms.

    End of the note.
Security for Third-Party or Additional Applications

The output of a NetWeaver Voice application is rendered on a third-party VoiceXML gateway. End users call the VoiceXML gateway, which triggers HTTP requests to your NetWeaver Voice application.

Note Note

You must contact the vendor of your third-party VoiceXML gateway to know their security aspects.

End of the note.
