At runtime, you have the option to operate in two work centers – the GP Runtime work center and the Process Instance work center. Using the runtime tools, you can:
· Start (initiate) processes
● Assign users to particular process roles, so that they are able to execute process steps
● Specify context parameters, add attachments, and check the result of a process
● Execute tasks
● Monitor the process and task execution to which you contribute
The screen of the runtime work center is divided into the following areas:
The portal navigation of the GP runtime includes the main navigation (above) and the step navigation (left). The step navigation under Guided Procedures is always empty and minimized. The basic layout of the runtime contains three main screen areas:
● Title bar
This area shows the title of the work center in which you are operating.
● Application area
The basic screen area where you complete tasks and execute processes.
● Navigation area
You can navigate in the application area using the view selection and contextual navigation panel in the navigation area.
For more information about the elements of the runtime screen areas, see Core Elements of the Runtime.
