Procedure documentation Defining Window Properties  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

For each Window unit of a Web Dynpro application, you can make settings as following:

      Help Link

       This generic UI service automatically inserts context information into help links for the following application units:

       Development Component

       Release of Software Component

       Locale

       WD Application Name

       WD Component Name

       WD Window Name

      Title and Help Description

       Add any text strings for your purposes.

      Lifespan

       If you choose Framework Controlled, then the Web Dynpro Framework will instantiate the WD window when the WD component is instantiated.

       The When visible option should be chosen if you want the window controller be visible for all other controllers within the WD component.

      Custom Padding

       You can activate and deactivate window padding. Per default the padding function is deactivated.

Prerequisites

WD Component and Window are available in Web Dynpro Explorer.

Procedure

Double-click on the Window name in the Web Dynpro Explorer view, and choose tab Properties out of the tab row for the window definitions.
