Background documentation Day Patterns  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

You can use day patterns to define the following non-entry related information for each day:

Public holiday and the public holiday text

      Different working times

WD offers two aggregations to define a day patterns. RecurrenceDayPattern defines a pattern for a day of the week, such as Saturday. All Saturdays in the calendar then have the same pattern.

With the aggregation DayPattern it is possible to redefine each day individually. The DayPattern therefore has a dataSource that is bound against a context node containing all necessary information.

The following patterns are displayed in the different views:

YearView

The holidayText is included in the tool tip of the day. Free days (without a defined working time) and working days (with a defined working time) are visualized.

WeekView and DayView:

Holidays are rendered as full day events.

Working times are displayed, depending on the setting for property showWorkingTime.
