Procedure

  1. Locate the ruleset (Where is my ruleset?) , expand the ruleset node, the Decision Tables folder node and double-click a decision table node.

    or

    Locate the flow ruleset (Where is my flow ruleset?) , expand the flow ruleset node, the Decision Tables folder and double-click a decision table node.

  2. In the decision table editor that appears, choose the Import button.

  3. In the dialog box that appears, browse for the Excel file carrying relevant data for the decision table.

  4. Choose Open.

The decision table gets populated with data.

Note Note

  • The data in the Excel sheet you import and the decision table to which you are importing the data must not have other conditions The data in the Excel sheet must not have complex action values.

  • The values which are considered complex are:

    • Dynamic values with one or more arguments.

    • Multiple expressions, which may or may not contain dynamic values, connected by mathematical operators.
