The Browse Images dialog box enables you to use a single editor to add icons from the standard Web Dynpro collection. You can also add external images, defined by their URLs.

Prerequisites

In your open model, you have displayed the Layout board and added an Image control from the Compose task panel.

Procedure

To access the Browse Images dialog box, click the Browse Images (Browse Images) button of the URL field in the Configure Image task panel, or choose Browse from the context menu of the selected image.

Selecting a Web Dynpro Icon

  1. From the Categories list, select the folder that contains the icon that you need.

  2. Find the icon and click it. In the Selected Images pane at the right, the icon Name and default display Condition are displayed.

  3. In the Condition field, define the condition for displaying the image in the control, as needed.

Defining an External Image

  1. In the Selected Images pane, click the Add Image (Add Image) toolbar button. A block is added for defining the new image.

  2. In the URL field, enter the full URL of the image.

  3. In the Condition field, define the condition for displaying the image in the control.

Defining the Image Display Order

In the Selected Images pane, use the Move Up (Move Up) and Move Down (Move Down) toolbar buttons to define the correct image order. Note that the order of the images indicates the priority of the image display. Each image subsequent to the first is the “else” version of the image, in the order given.
