By default, users can use Web Services Navigator to test Web services that are only deployed on the system where it is running itself. If you want to allow users to test Web services deployed on other systems, you should enter the addresses of these systems in the Web Services Navigator white list.

Prerequisites

The user account you use for managing the Web Services Navigator white list should be assigned to the SAP_JAVA_WS_ADMIN_TEC role. For more information, see Authorizations and User Management of the Application Server Java.

Procedure

  1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

  2. Choose   SOA Management   Technical Configuration   SOA Middleware Global Settings  .

Alternatively, you can use the quick link /nwa/middleware-settings as follows:

    http://<host>:<port>/nwa/middleware-settings

  3. Choose WS Navigator.

  4. In the Allowed Hosts field, enter the addresses (part or whole) of the hosts that WS Navigator is allowed to access.

You can use wildcards when adding IP addresses and domains. Make sure the addresses are separated by the vertical bar (|) character.

  5. Choose Save.
