The Configuration Wizard in SAP NetWeaver Administrator enables you to add capabilities to a portal installation using automated configuration tasks.

The following table describes the EPC automated configuration tasks:

Configuration Task Name

Description

EPC – Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Enables full support for the comprehensive set of CRM tools.

EPC – Employee/Manager Self Service (ESS/MSS)

Provides access to ESS and MSS through the portal, along with the required content management capabilities.

EPC – Extended Content Administration

Extends partial administration capabilities to the full portal capacity.

EPC – Federated Portal Network (FPN)

Adds the capabilities needed to enable the portal to participate in a federated portal network.

EPC – Interoperability

The interoperability framework page provides a means for integrating pages and iViews with third-party products, as well as providing the capability to send direct links to portal pages and iViews. This configuration task adds an alias to the interoperability desktop to the Master Rule Collection.

EPC – Management of Local Applications

Enables the administrator to fully manage local applications in the portal.

EPC – Personalization

Enables portal users to define their portal preferences and to personalize pages and iViews.

EPC – Universal Worklist (UWL)

Enables the universal worklist.

EPC – Web Page Composer (WPC)

Adds Web Page Composer work folders to the Portal Content Studio and provides a Web Page Composer iView template.
