Backend systems the SAP Business Suite applications or any other application from any company can be used using Web services.
To start an SAP NetWeaver BPM process, the corresponding operation of a Web service is called. Only UME users with the role SAP_BPM_SuperAdmin are able to start a new process instance using Web service provisioning.
