Comparing Aliases and Ruleset 
You can compare changes made to aliases and ruleset.
Prerequisites
You should have a running instance of SAP AS, and should have configured SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio with this instance.
You should have also deployed the DC
Procedure
Comparing Rulesets
Locate the ruleset (Where is my ruleset?) or locate the flow ruleset (Where is my flow ruleset?).
In the context menu of the ruleset or flow ruleset, choose Compare With and in the menu that appears, choose one of the options:
Runtime Latest Version: This option allows you to take the latest version of the ruleset and compare it with the ruleset in the workspace
Resource in Folder: This option allows you to compare two copies of a ruleset, one in the workspace and the other in your local file system
DTR Latest Version: This option allows you to choose the ruleset in the local file system and compare with latest version of the ruleset shared in DTR
NoteMake sure you choose a .ruleset file

The Compare editor window displays the comparison between the two copies of the ruleset.
Comparing Aliases
Locate the Project Resources node (Where is the Project Resources node?).
In the context menu of the Project Resources node, choose Compare With and in the menu that appears, choose one of the options.
Make sure you choose a .aliaset file
Note
You can choose the Download Runtime version option in the context menu of the Project Resources node to download the contents of the DC that was recently deployed in your local file system.
