Working with the Developer Studio 

The Developer Studio is based on Eclipse. After starting the Developer Studio you see that the Workbench and the general behavior is identical to Eclipse. If you already have worked with Eclipse before you can import your projects into the Developer Studio like you did in Eclipse and you will experience the same editing comfort as you are used from Eclipse. However there are some differences. One of the major differences between the Developer Studio and Eclipse is the way you can structure projects in the Developer Studio. In addition to the standard project management in Eclipse, the Developer Studio supports the SAP Component Model, a sophisticated way to manage large projects and supports team work.
