Procedure documentationDeleting an If-Then Rule Locate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

  1. Locate the ruleset (Where is my ruleset?) and double-click the ruleset node.

  2. In the Outline view, choose Delete. in the context menu of the rule node.

  3. In the dialog box that appears, choose Yes.

Note Note

  • You cannot delete an If-Then rule if it is being used as a precondition in an another If-Then rule

  • You can also deactivate an If-Then rule if you do not want to delete it. Deactivating a rule indicates that the action of the rule will not be fired, though the rule will be evaluated by the engine in debugging sessions as the rule is still part of the RETE network creation

End of the note.
