The Select Endpoint step of the Services Registry wizard enables you to select the endpoint that contains the operations that you want to use. You can view the operations for each endpoint in the list.

Note Note

If the current user is not authenticated by the physical system that contains the endpoint operations, you are prompted to enter the user name and password for the system to view the endpoint's operations.

The Select Endpoint step contains the following items:

Description

Endpoint list

Displays a list of all the endpoints defined for the service definition you selected in the Select Definition screen, including the endpoint name and its URL.

User name

The user name required for authentication by the physical system that contains the operations. This option is only displayed if the current user is not already authenticated by the system.

Password

The password required for authentication by the physical system that contains the operations. This option is only displayed if the current user is not already authenticated by the system.

Log On

Logs on to the physical system that contains the operations, using the specified user credentials. This option is only displayed if the current user is not already authenticated by the system.

Operations list

Displays a list of all the operations defined for the currently selected endpoint.
