With the process list, you can display all running, completed, and canceled processes that are relevant for you. You can open the process list from the universal worklist (UWL) by clicking the Process List Viewer link in the Related Links pane. Procedure

Displaying Processes In Which You Are Involved

Processes in which you are involved are all processes which contain tasks for which you are the processor.

  1. To display all running processes in which you are involved, choose Processes I am involved in in the Show dropdown list.

  2. To also display the completed and canceled processes in which you are involved, choose the Also Show Finished pushbutton.

    Even the processes where you haven't completed a task but you were once assigned as processor to the task are shown. The processor may have been changed due to substitution, delegation, or processor reassignment by an administrator, for example.

Displaying Processes You Have Started

You can start processes in different ways, for example by filling out an online form. As administrator, you can start a process with the Manage Processes tool in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator. You do not need to be a processor within the processes in order to start them..

  1. To display all running processes which you have started, choose Processes I have started in the Show dropdown list.

  2. To also display the completed and canceled processes, choose the Also Show Finished pushbutton.

  1. To display all running processes in which you are involved and/or you have started, choose All my processes in the Show dropdown list.

  2. To also display the completed and canceled processes in which you are involved or you have started, choose the Also Show Finished pushbutton.

Displaying Process Details

You can display details of each of the processes listed in the table.

  1. Select the process for which you want to display details.

  2. Click the corresponding link to display the process details you are interested in:

    Description

    Active Tasks

    Displays all active tasks which are addressed to you as a processor in the process.

    Attachments

    Lists all attachments with the file name and information about file size, file type, upload date, and who added the attachment to the process.

    You can also open the attachments from the list.

    Notes

    Displays the note texts which were added to the process.

    History

    Displays some technical information about the process flow.

    • Basic: Displays tasks executed by a person.

    • Medium: Displays tasks executed by a person and activities executed automatically by a system

    • Advanced: Displays tasks executed by a person, activities executed automatically by a system, and changes of data, for example when a form is filled out

    Each entry is an event which happened in the process flow. In the list, you can see the event type, for example Task completed, date and time the event happened, a technical description, and the category of the event.

    • Human interaction: Tasks executed by persons

    • Control flow: Activities executed automatically by systems

    • Data flow: Data was changed by a person or automatically by a system

    You can do a text search in the Description field.

    Process Definition

    Displays the process description (if available) and the administrators of the process. The description and the administrators are defined during the process modeling, whereas the description is an optional entry. The administrators of the process can suspend, resume, and cancel the process.

Result

The main data of the process is displayed in the list: process name, process start, process completion for completed and canceled processes, user who started the process.

You can also display details on each process, for example the active tasks of a running process. By choosing the Process Flow push button you can display a graphical visualization of the process.
