Performance 

The Performance node of the monitoring tree displays performance monitor data for applications and services in accordance with the developer’s needs. By default, you can see here the following group of monitors:

External Communication

Monitored Unit	Description
Average RFC IO	The bytes which are transferred in the external RFC communication.
Average RFC Time	The average RFC time.
Average Web Service IO	The bytes which are transferred in the external Web Service communication.
Average Web Service Time	The average Web Service Time.
External RFC Calls	The number of external RFC calls.
External Web Service Calls	The number of external Web Service calls.

 

Description of possible problems and recommendation on how to proceed when they occur:

If the average time lost in external communication is too high, the average time for requests processing has to be checked-out in the backend system.
