Standard Users
By default, the AS Java provides standard users for administrative and guest access, as well as communication users for connecting to the installed data source. The standard users on the AS Java are as shown in the table below.

Administrator user |
Specified during installation. Default suggestion: Administrator
This user has wide-ranging administrative access to the AS Java. We recommend that you use strong password and auditing policies for this user. |
Guest user |
Specified during installation. Default suggestion: Guest
This user is used for anonymous access to the AS Java. By default, this user is locked. |
Technical user |
Specified during installation. Default suggestion: SAP<SID>DB This user exists in the database and is not visible to the user management engine (UME). The AS Java uses this user for DB connectivity. |

If you change the data source of the AS Java, you must configure all or some of these standard users in the new data source as part of the configuration after installation.
