Reloading Arguments

You need to reload an argument if you modify or delete existing elements in a schema file or if you add new elements to a schema file.

Note Note

You should have imported a schema and created a ruleset

End of the note.
  1. In the Project Explorer view, expand the process composer DC node, the Process Modeling node, and the Rules and Functions node and double-click the Ruleset node.

  2. In the Ruleset Editor that appears, choose the Aliases tab and then choose the Reload Arguments button.

  3. In the Reload Argument dialog box that appears, expand the Namespace node and choose an Argument. Choose Finish.

Note Note

Even if you delete a schema file, you can still view the arguments in the process composer. When you reload these arguments, stale aliases are generated.

End of the note.

If you delete an existing element in a schema file and try to reload an argument, stale aliases are generated.

For example, the screenshot below displays a schema file 'callcharges.xsd' under wsdl node.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

In the Schema 'callcharges.xsd' file, delete the 'DestinationCountry' element. Import the 'callcharges.xsd' file again in the process composer and reload the argument. You can view the Stale Aliases and the enabled Delete Aliases button in the Ruleset Aliases Editor as shown below:

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

You can also delete these stale aliases using Delete Aliases button from the process composer.
