Creating Users 

Use

You perform this step to create an initial administration user for the ES Repository and a user for communication with the Change Management Service (CMS). The latter one is required, for example, to import ESR content.

Procedure

Perform the following steps:

...

       1.      Start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

       2.      Choose Operation Management → Users and Access → Identity Management.

       3.      Create the user ESRAdmin as a technical user and assign it to the user group SAP_ESR_ADMINISTRATOR created in the previous step.

       4.      Create the user ESRCMS<SID> as a technical user and assign it the role SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER.

       5.      Save your entries.

If you create additional users, always assign them to a corresponding user group and not directly to a user role.
