Arranging Views in a Window
You can position views within a view assembly using the ViewContainerUIElement. The element gives you lot of freedom when positioning views in the browser window. You can embed this UI element in the layout of a view - like all other available UI elements - and position it by selecting suitable container layouts.
Whereas the layout-specific settings of the ViewContainerUIElement are made in the View Designer, you define its content in the Window Editor. Thus, the content of the ViewContainerUIElement is not restricted to a single view, but can comprise any (inner) view composition.
Procedure
1. To enhance the view composition with the ViewContainerUIElement, open the View Designer tool, select the UI element out of the Layout category and drag it onto the View Designer editor.
2. Open the window unit via Open → Open Window Editor on the window name in the Web Dynpro Explorer.
3. Insert a view into the ViewContainerUIElement.
